    I see on the forums people freaking out about bringing up older posts or people who are scared to comment as it's over a month old.

    Don't be!
    It's fun with activity on the forums and if you have something you want to share - relating to that post, go for it!

    The only time I see it's irrelevant is if;
    The post is regarding a player report, ban/unban related, and things of similar nature.
    But posts such as pictures, music, building ideas, event ideas,
    don't hesitate for a moment. :D

    Yeah, I can agree with this. As long as the post being made in a given thread is relevant and not something stupid (e.g. just posting "bump"), I don't see anything wrong with it.

    On larger forums, it's a bit taboo to bring back older threads, but since we're a smaller community and not as active as, say, a forum with 30,000 registered members, it's not as big of a deal.

    Just a suggestion, but have you considered creating an "Archived Threads" sub-forum in areas such as the Player Reports?
    The forum could be read-only which would stop players from bringing up old reports.
    It's also a great way of displaying which reports have been handled and which are still pending.
    (It makes the server staff look efficient and organised too! ;))

    Not a bad idea. It could be a subforum to Player Reports. I've seen the XenForo staff do this with suggestions and reports for the development of their software. I'll think about this one!
